JOB: Retail Clerk – Administrative (Bookkeeping, Receiver, Scan Clerk)JOB OVERVIEW
- Provides fast friendly customer service. Performs administrative functions, may handle payroll and personnel functions, hang shelf tags and interface with vendors, depending on role.
- Bookkeeper role may handle financial accounting, personnel matters including payroll, orientation and training, corrective action, and records retention depending on location.
- Receiver receives product interfaces with drivers and vendors and accounts for missing, damages or surplus merchandise.
- Scan position ensures scan and price accuracy, hangs tags, and makes adjustments as needed.
- Operates computer programs and relevant systems.
- Cleans work areas as needed.
- Strong Customer Service Skills.
- Prior administrative or bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Basic math skills, and strong customer service and communication skills required.
- Familiarity with computer programs and Excel preferred.
- Regular attendance required.
- Mental alertness required.
- Lifts, manipulates, pushes and pulls items of varying sizes of 20-50 pounds, depending on position.
- Bends and stoops, twists and turns.
- Sitting, standing and walking required depending on role.
