Job Description

Analytical Technician

A semiconductor company is seeking analytical technican to work in their Planarization department. The ideal candidate will have either industrial or academic experience with instruments and techniques that include HPLC, IC, trace metal analysis experience, or wet chemistry like basic pH, conductivity, density, solid experience.

The successful candidate will also share in the responsibility to maintain a safe and clean lab environment by following all safe laboratory practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

+ B.S. degree in chemistry is preferred. An A.S./B.S. degree in a related field will also be considered with relevant laboratory experience.

+ At least 1 year of industrial experience working in a chemical laboratory setting.

+ Applicant s must possess: Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the group in a team environment.

+ Working knowledge of software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

+ Please note: this is a 1st Shift, Long Term Contract that may require some overtime. Shift start time is 7AM.

+ Pay rate 21.00 per hour

Preferred Qualifications

+ Previous analytical, or QC, or R D lab environment for minimum 1 year and above;

+ familiar or hands-on in wet chemistry analysis, or metals analysis or particle analysis or spectroscopy/chromatography analysis; some method development experience preferred.

+ PLUS Good team work.
