Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
+ Performs complex systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.
+ Leads a group of engineers, analysts, technicians, and/or one or more project engineers.
+ Configure, operate, monitor, secure, and sustain all internal network devices. Maintain rack space and ensure connectivity to the LAN.
+ Repair or replace any defective cabling in the network. Perform troubleshooting on network outages.
+ Monitor heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and power for all equipment rooms and office space using the provided software and report environmental issues.
+ Maintain network physical and logical diagrams and associated databases.
+ Assemble, install, disassemble, uninstall, and move IT and electronic equipment.
+ Provide a technical evaluation on the characteristics of printers, multifunction printers, scanners, and facsimiles for possible acquisition; and when acquired integrate on the network.
+ Maintain, set up, issue, and install telephones, STEs, and related equipment.
+ Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure the public address system.
+ Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure the audio visual display system.
+ Troubleshoot and sustain the camera monitoring system.
+ Operate, troubleshoot, and sustain electrical signs.
+ Support the internal VTC equipment.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
8-10 years of related systems engineering experience.
Certifications: IAT II (e.g. CCNA Security, Security+); Computing Environment Certification
