Attention Cyber Security Professionals! Our Army Intelligence Digital Transformation Engineering Services (AID-TES) team is looking for an Information Assurance Engineer. AID-TES consists of engineering, cybersecurity and information assurance management and post productions software sustainment of the DCGS-A Fixed system. Engineering and cyber security tasks are comprised of full lifecycle engineering support of the DCGS-A Fixed Storage system, as well as Fusion Brain installations, upgrades and depot level support. Lifecycle support includes design, development, integration, verification, validation and other support functions of the systems and software development lifecycle. Post productions software support includes analyzing system performance, failure frequency, difficulty of repair and associated cost information to derive recommended changes that increase system reliability, simplify or lower maintenance costs, or increase system availability.
Information Assurance Engineer Responsibilities
This position works with the team and the customer to develop and maintain system security policies, security technical implementation guide checklists, system security plan, system cybersecurity traceability matrix, and other artifacts as necessary as part of the Risk Management Framework Assessment and Authorization process to successfully achieve an Authority to Operate for the system on multiple security domains. The Information Assurance Engineer on this team performs vulnerability scans, analysis, and reporting using tools such as ACAS, Nessus and eMASS. The candidate will monitor, retrieve and track the status of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts and Bulletins as part of the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management program. They will work with closed lab networks, NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and coalition networks.
Information Assurance Engineer Minimum Qualifications
· Required Clearance Level: TOP SECRET/SCI
· Education Level Required: Bachelors of Sciences with 10+ years of experience.
· Experience working with HBSS, eMASS,, IAVAs, and the DIACAP/RMF process. Experience working with WIndows and Redhat servers, VMWare, ESXi, and VSphere virtualization.
· The candidate must have an IAT Level III certification.
Specific System Experience Required:
DCGS-A experience is highly desirable.
