Job Description

Currently, RGServices is looking to hire an Avaya VoIP/VTC Administrator to support the Regional Cyber Center at Ft. Huachuca, AZ.

A Day In the Life:

To help make our customer successful, the chosen candidate can expect to be involved with or responsible for

+ Creating solutions to resolve complex operational problems, collaborating with vendors and users as required, and identifying trends that warrant immediate attention

+ Providing guidance to management in predicting performance and capacity and addressing related issues

+ Designing complex hardware/platform infrastructure and interfaces

+ Performing complex hardware sizing and developing High Availability hardware platform designs

+ Creating the Technical Design Specification, and Build-To documents

+ Facilitating Peer Review process

+ Providing Quality Assurance on all design and deployment efforts

+ Developing and executing complex change implementation plans

+ Troubleshooting complex hardware problems

+ Working with development team to configure and troubleshoot applications

+ Resolving complex operational problems and determining root cause

+ Leading the Root Cause Analysis process

Required Skills

A Consultant is an exempt customer-facing business professional that provides a variety of information directly to customers for their ongoing programs, new initiatives, strategic planning, and measurement/evaluation in one or more of RG’s solutions. They possess excellent customer service skills, remain current on industry trends, value team work, and have a wide range of interpersonal skills.

Required Experience

To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be considered.

+ One of the following education/experience combinations:

+ BA/BS Degree

+ AA/AS & 2+ years’ related technical experience

+ HS & 4+ years’ related technical experience

+ Experience in VoIP/VTC Administration with the ability to perform all tasks above

+ Secret Security Clearance, Interim required prior to starting work (US Citizenship required)

+ IAT II Certification

+ Avaya Certified Implementation Specialist (ACIS), Avaya Certified Solutions Specialist (ACSS), Avaya Certified Specialist (ACS), Avaya Certified Expert (ACE), or Avaya Certified Solutions Architect (ACSA) required within 180 days of hire

+ Ability to participate in rotational on-call duties to provide after-hours support, willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary

+ Ability to travel to Contingency of Operations Plan (COOP) sites
