Position Overview: This is a Mid-Level Tolerance Analyst position. The individual will be responsible for creating 3D tolerance models. The person will work with program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to help reduce dimensional issues to ensure proper component fitment. The candidate will need to review and provide input to GD&T on product drawings to help ensure the Technical Data Package can meet dimensional requirements. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of GD&T Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Position Requirements: Experience with visualizing geometric problems in 3D space CAD experience Experience generating presentations and reports using Microsoft Office products Eligible to obtain a DOD security clearance Desired Skills: Experience performing 1D/2D hand stack Tolerance Analysis 3-5 years’ experience with GD&T Experience performing 3D Tolerance analysis Experience using Siemens Variation Analysis Experience with Siemens Teamcenter Visualization C++ or VBA experience CREO/Pro-e skills ASME GD&T Certification (Senior or Technologist) Producibility experience Education Requirements: Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent technical field and 6 years of relevant work experience /or/ Master’s in Engineering or equivalent technical field and 4 years of relevant work experience Working Environment: This position involves direct support of programs in the fast pace early design phases where analysis and GD&T can have a strong impact on design. Must be able to effectively work with cross functional teams to understand the design, perform tolerance analysis, and present recommendations to the Responsible Engineering Authority (REA)
