+ Participate in
completing Process Safety Management (PSM) activities for new and existing
processes to ensure all safety considerations are addressed with sufficient
countermeasures assuring personnel safety and environmental compliance.
activities to generate required technical inputs for proposals including but
not limited to; Applicable data deliverable definitions, testing cost estimates
and other technical support to Program Management, Applications Engineering and
+ Actively participates in Sales Order Kick Off (SOKO) meetings. Completes a thorough review of proposed vs.
contracted testing requirements necessary to complete the job prior to the
scheduled SOKO meeting. Completes work
to close any requirement gaps identified at the SOKO meeting prior to the work
order release of the job to the production floor.
+ Actively participates in Sales Order Close Out (SOCO)
meetings. Document technical lessons learned throughout
the life of the contract; e.g. test issues, test material or specification obsolescence,
etc. Items identified in these meetings will be incorporated into action items
on or before award of the next contract. Lessons learned should drive corrections or
improvements for any future contracts
+ Provide supervision in fabrication of testing and test
control apparatus and equipment.
+ Directs and coordinates activities relevant to
development, identification, procurement, installation, verification, and
calibration of upgraded test equipment and instrumentation and control devices
required to test, record, and reduce test data.
+ Determines conditions, and schedules under which tests
are to be conducted.
qualification test plans, procedures and reports (QTP’s and QTR’s).
Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP’s).
in mechanical fixture design to include vibration and shock holding fixtures.
in electronic test fixture design as required.
and interprets test data and preparation of test reports for submittal to
management and PacSci EMC customers.
with engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems, such as
product or system malfunctions, equipment problems, incomplete test data,
and/or data interpretation.
in team efforts in the area of test efficiency and cycle time reduction.
technicians to perform product testing.
Work Orders, Statements of Work and Requisition for sub-contracted testing.
with sub-contractor representatives to insure that PacSci EMC requirements and
schedules are met.
other related duties as assigned:
degree in Engineering
in VHDL programming is a plus.
in the aerospace or energetic materials field, preferably in a production
of Quality systems and practices a must.
working knowledge of MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Access, Visio and
Project a plus.
+ Interpersonal skills promoting
effective interaction with other staff, customers and suppliers.
