ManTech is seeking Top Talent as a DCGS-A Test Engineer, Intermediate . In the execution of these efforts, the individual shall evaluate, analyze, critique, and/or assess the technical aspects of work performed by the contractor. The contractor shall provide Software Maintenance Lifecycle support to include: program management, infrastructure and information technology management, Post Deployment Software Sustainment (PDSS) Mission Support, Post Production Software Sustainment (PPSS) Mission Support, cybersecurity and authorization support. The individual may be required to perform services at its own facility (off-site) or at a duty station at a designated U.S. Government facility or other designated facilities (on-site) within the Continental U.S. (CONUS).

The DCGS-A Test Engineer, Intermediate will:

+ Define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret developmental tests for new and/or modified products or product components

+ Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel

+ Provide technical support and advice to other engineering groups

+ Devise and apply testing procedures for parts or sub-assemblies received from outside vendors

+ Participate in the development, maintenance and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs

Requirements:

+ BA/BS in Electronics Engineering or any other Scientific or Technical discipline.

+ Position requires demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, and excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Creative problem solver to devise solutions using test systems/tools, company or customer furnished computer systems and equipment or commercial off-the-shelf packages

+ Plans, develops, implements tests, and customizes software test servers and tools

+ May support system/software test design, engineering evaluation, configuration management

+ May work with end users and may assist with training

+ Continues to improve technical expertise through the identification of new processes and technical alternatives to resolve problems and/or general improvements

+ 1-2 years experience defining, documenting, analyzing, and performing developmental tests

+ 1-2 years experience testing ARMY tactical systems

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Familiar with AMC / CECOM / SEC policies, procedures and workforce

+ Possess knowledge of and have practical experience developing software for DOD programs subject to the DOD acquisition process

+ DCGS-A experience

Clearance:

Must have active Secret Clearance. Ability to obtain TS/SCI Eligibility needed based on final work assignment. TS/SCI clearance preferred.
