This position performs servicing activities on various aircraft including fuel and oil, and operates equipment necessary to safely and efficiently complete these tasks.
Direct aircraft into and out of parking areas utilizing proper hand and arm signals IAW FM 21-60, STANAG 3117, and local procedures.
Furnish ground handling services and assistance to include aircraft fire guard, parking guides and assistance, mooring, starting, repositioning (towing), and similar preflight and post-flight ground handling.
Have USAF fighter aircraft familiarization, (i.e., F-16, A-10, F-35) along with flightline and weapons safety.
Utilize ground support equipment (power carts, light carts, etc.) to assist with servicing and loading/unloading aircraft.
Provide flight line transportation upon request for baggage or cargo between aircraft and airfield facilities to include airfield operations, adjacent ramps and hangars DoD 4515.13-R, TM 38-250, and applicable federal and local guidance.
Perform airfield checks that include driving the runway, taxiways, and ramps to check for and remove hazardous debris from all areas and note all non-operational lights, damaged, or broken markers.
Refuel/defuel aircraft at various locations on property, following Department of Defense guidelines and procedures
Ensure aircraft is secured, positions the tanker, ensures aircraft and truck are properly grounded and conducts aircraft refueling operations in accordance with FM 10-67-1.
Record maintenance actions in aircraft records and complete associated documentation as necessary
Perform oil and fuel testing duties
Have munitions handling experience, preferably in the US military career field. Shall include knowledge of but not limited to the following:
General knowledge of accepted warehousing methods procedures, and
explosive/munitions handling techniques.
General knowledge of warehousing functions, such as explosives munitions receiving, storage,
and issuing operations.
General knowledge of munitions inventory procedures and ability to prepare inventory
General knowledge of instructions, procedures, and policies pertaining to shipping and
Familiar with explosive safety instructions, practices, and procedures and ability
to interpret and apply instructions pertaining to munitions handling.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities. The position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Basic to intermediate computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs.
Ability to enter data accurately into databases both manual and electronic.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.
Must be trustworthy
Effective oral and technical written communication skills to effectively and clearly communicate complex information in high pressure, emergency situations to others.
Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, etc.
Ability to follow a process.
Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and consider decision impact across multiple areas with limited information in high stress situations and environments
Strong decision analysis and problem solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues to management and regulatory agencies
Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Tunista’s goals.
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, detect unobvious facts and issues, and exercise resourcefulness in resolving problems.

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid driver license with acceptable driving record
Recent work experience in the areas of aircraft maintenance / modification / repair experience
Ability to pass a drug and background screening
Must be able to obtain a government security clearance
