Job Description

This is a multi-level position, Sr. Financial Analyst or Principal Financial Analyst, based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience, and requirements for this position The T ube-launched, O ptically-tracked, W ireless-guided ( TOW ) Weapon System program in the Land Warfare Systems product line has an immediate opening for a Sr. Financial Analyst or Principal Financial Analyst role to provide analytical support and financial oversight over medium rate, billion dollar missile production contracts. This role will require constant re-evaluation and updating of detail level forecasts with an emphasis on variance analysis and a focus on process improvements and resource optimization to minimize future variances and drive profitability. Primary responsibilities include: Generating and analyzing cost of sales forecasts for upwards of $180M of annual prime material costs including IOT cost flows, financed supplier Purchase Orders (PO), and delivery based receipts Inputs and updates to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and 5-year sales objectives Establishing procurement budgets for new contract awards and evaluating performance against those budgets Evaluating production and procurement performance against Estimate at Complete (EAC) expectations for purchase price, scrap rates, and rework rates Support and analyze new proposal development with an emphasis on evaluation of performance assumptions relative to historical trends, attrition rates, rework percentages and Supplier NRE efforts Contribute to cross-functional teams with an emphasis on financial implications of team decisions and ensure finance team knowledge of program decisions Ensuring proper cost elements and charge accounts for procurement requests Ad-hoc request support in a fast-paced environment Develop, utilize and disseminate process improvement and tool improvement opportunities to enhance analytical opportunities for the entire finance team Other Financial Analysis and Planning responsibilities may include: Analyzing, reviewing and billing PBP and Delivery billings. Review and analyzing manpower forecasts Earned Value analysis for production programs The unique challenges of the TOW Weapon System program include: Large Material Procurement Management (MPM) team located in Arizona and Texas Multiple factory production spanning several states Complicated bills of material spanning 4 missiles variants and multiple launcher variants Overlapping production contracts This role will require significant interaction with and knowledge of: APEX PRISM Excel Rplan Business Warehouse PowerPoint Do you have these minimum requirement skills? Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline and a minimum 4+ years of experience in financial analysis or related finance experience or MS degree in a related discipline and 2+ years of related experience for a Sr. Financial Analyst Experience with data analysis and reporting Experience with Microsoft and Excel Experience multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment Experience improving processes and data analysis Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly Desired Skills: Working knowledge of APEX, PRISM and related financial systems Working knowledge of IOT cost flows and supplier financing tools (PBPs, Progress Payments) Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
