Civil Engineering Intern – Transportation/Public Works – Tucson

As one of the top-ranked consulting engineering firms in the nation, providing surveying, engineering, construction management and environmental services, we have an opportunity for a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Transportation/Public Works Team in our Tucson office.

Your Role:

As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will apply your knowledge to assist with a broad range of project assignments and provide support to the project team. You will work on design efforts in conventional aspects of Civil Engineering which may include traffic, roadway, drainage, grading, storm water quality, and site preparation for public and private entities.

Required Qualifications:

3rd or 4th year student with a major in Civil Engineering from a local accredited university.
Availability to work 10-16 hours per week during the school year and 20-40 hours per week during the summer
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Self-starter and self-motivated

Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation
