Northrop Grumman is seeking a motivated Simulations Operator/ Administrator in Fort Huachuca, Arizona to join the United States Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE) and their mission to deliver intelligence training used to enhance current and future Army readiness.
The successful team member will prove the ability to organize data, and operate intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR)simulations in fully integrated computer network architecture. Participate with on-going intelligence training efforts to meet growing job demands in our dynamic simulations environment. The computer systems and applications used to perform these tasks are, the Battlefield Sensor Simulator (BSS), the Tactical Communication Support Processor (TCSP) the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) and the WARSIM Intelligence Module (WIM), Intelligence and the Electronic Warfare Tactical Proficiency Trainer (IEWTPT).
+ Applying systems analysis techniques and procedures to implement simulation requirements from customers
+ Regularly performs order of battle research, process documentation, systems testing, and modification of simulation intelligence databases and systems based on customer requirements
+ Handle multiple tasks accurately and reliably in a busy, demanding work environment, and schedule and prioritize workload individually and with other staff members
+ Maintaining, upgrading, and resolving issues with Microsoft Windows and Linux based workstations and servers in a workstation and virtual environments
+ Technical control operator and scenario developer, database development, database maintenance, system maintenance and exercise preparationThe exercise preparation includes message routing design and verification, and conducting pre-exercise communication s exercises
+ Design and create custom software utilities to support scenario development and exercise operations requirements
+ Provide critical insight to software developers for changes needed or requested by the customer in support of their simulation needs
+ Be familiar with the United States Message Text Formats (USMTF) for intelligence reporting; perform system administration tasks on the above systems, which include installations, back-ups, maintenance and up-keep of the operating system and application software
+ Diagnose hardware and software problems, identify alternative solutions, make and implement recommendations, and other support responsibilities as directed
+ A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience OR A Master’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience; An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement
+ Have familiarity with the United States Message Text Formats (USMTF), and other reporting formats
+ Prior experience in Military Intelligence
+ A valid CompTIA Security+ CE certification (IAT II or higher) or the ability to obtain within 6 months of being hired
+ A Current Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance (or higher)
+ Must have creative and flexible problem solving skills
+ Must have a strong commitment to a team environment
+ Network+, Linux+ certified
+ Capacity to work unsupervised
+ Willingness to learn new technologies
