We are looking to hire a full-time Core Data Center Senior Engineer to support our IT services contract located at Fort Huachuca, AZ. In this position, you will provide services in support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). You will also support the design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to employ specified NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and Deployed Forces (DF) portion of the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN), in addition to reviewing, analyzing and providing engineering recommendations for a fixed facility, meeting DoD standards for a network infrastructure, security, technology, operations, and adhering to enterprise governance under a “franchise” model.
+ Provide planning, design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to Care Data Center project.
+ Work with CAC-PKI, IPSEC, and NSA Type 1 encryption devices.
+ Assess the technical requirements for a separate processing enclave using the security and network capabilities provided by the Joint Single Security Architecture. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Visio
+ Coordinate, review and maintain system documentation.
+ Participates in special projects as required.
+ BA/BS or equivalent experience
+ DoD 8570.1-M Certification: IASAE Level II Certification
+ Computing Environment Certification, CISSP (Prefered)
+ Clearance: TS/SCI
+ 5 – 8 years of experience in information technology field
+ Experience designing and implementing data centers in DoD or Coalition classified networks.
+ Working knowledge of data center operations and functions such as IT Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP) strategies, load sharing exercises, and disaster recovery planning.
+ Working knowledge of Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative (FDCCI) and Army Data Center Consolidation Plan (ADCCP).
+ Hands on experience with how EDS&A products and services interrelate in order to ensure true NetOps capability integration in support of the NetOps LWN mission.
