Specialist Certification Program falls under Business Support,
Management, Operations, per 2012 – 2022 Arizona Statewide Occupational
Projections a growth of 18.1 – 25.5% of job openings with an hourly
average wage of $15.13 – $18.70. Program Description: Program trains the
student for Payroll Clerk skills with online or blended with homework practice. Program includes basics in QuickBooks Payroll and prepares the student for Certiport Certification Exam which can be taken at any testing facility including Eii. 2016 MOS credential validates the skills that individuals & organizations depend on. Jobs include:
Schools, Hospitals, Commercial Properties, State, City, County, Resorts,
Property Management, Mines, Environment Companies, and many more. This
program is 320 hours, students has up to 6 months to complete: Student
gains experience & skills in payroll, employer requirements in
payroll, time tracking, clerical duties, hands on payroll in QuickBooks
Payroll, filing quarterly and annual taxes, W2s, 1099s, and introduction
into other payroll services offered. Student will learn online and in
school with hands on practice in basic to advanced skills in Microsoft
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Learn how to develop forms, Excel
workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, and use Outlook with confidence.
Course is self paced online at home or in Eii’s computer lab with staff
members ready to help if needed. Prepares for the Microsoft Office Software (MOS) Certification Exam. MOS Book, and trains step by step with videos, presentations, exercises. You should have basic computer skills. Program is not offered for Mac. Program advances to in class study and hands on practice for 3 weeks QuickBooks Payroll, time keeping, manual payroll, payroll taxes, and more. Payroll skills can be used in Medical Offices,
Business Offices, Management Offices, and all types of businesses.
Students will graduate with attendance rate of 85% of classroom hours
and 75% or better on exams. Licensed by Arizona Board for Private
Postsecondary Education. Graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion. Competencies
