A. Course Objective: Provide the Caregiver Certificate to current/active Certified/Licensed Nurse Assistants in the state of AZ.
Description: The Advanced Certified Caregiver Course is a 22-hour non-accredited program that teaches individuals who are Certified/Licensed Nursing Assistants to hold a caregiver certificate.
Competencies to be achieved: Infection Control; Nutrition and Food Preparation; and Medication Management.

• Background check requirements for licensing and background restrictions for working in the occupation: No felonies
• Other requirements needed: Department of Public Safety (DPS) Card, Fingerprinting, Drug screening, TB Test, CPR & First Aid, and Food Handlers Card.
H. Refund Policy (provide a summary if Refund policy is not listed on school website): Before the beginning of class, the student is entitled to a refund of 100% of the paid tuition, included the $200 registration fee, with the return of the materials previously provided by the school as new. If a student needs to withdraw enrollment the following procedure needs to take place:
A $200 enrollment deposit will not be refunded for any reason, including deciding not to enroll in the program. Students can withdraw at any time. Refunds are not issued after the first day of class. Repayment of the entire program cost is required for students that reenroll.
