Data Management and Insights (DMI) is transforming the way that Wells Fargo uses and manages data. The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. This team also provides next generation analytic insights to drive business strategies and help meet our commitment to satisfy our customers’ financial needs.

The End to End Capability Product Owner within the Enterprise Data Lake (EDL) Product Management team will partner with senior leaders from various organizational levels such as Data Management & Insights (DMI), Data Management Solutions (DMS), Technology, Corporate Functions and the lines of business to enable agility in delivery of capabilities across the EDL. The role will drive E2E architecture alignment, and BDL project integration to enable capabilities as per the strategic roadmap. The role will also partner with technologies and BDL to ignite innovation that will allow for experimentation with POC and feasibility solutions.

This Senior Consultant role will lead efforts for Product Management, Capability Delivery Management, Agile/Scrum Methodologies, Release Management, Business Technology Solutions, Data Warehousing, Architecture and Systems Integration.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Partner with relevant stakeholders and business leaders to deliver capabilities as outlined in the product roadmap.

+ Collaborate and coordinate with executives and key leaders to maintain commitment to strategic objectives, alignment to EDL value proposition.

+ Deliver EDL capabilities while ensuring balance with the data governance policies and procedures.

+ Partner to develop and maintain a capability roadmap for the various capabilities (ingestion, integration, consumption, etc.) with rigorous investment analysis that is consistent with our holistic data strategy to meet business needs using value delivery approach, and informed by current business needs and emerging technology trends.

+ Understand requirements of LOB partners of data, analytics and reporting to inform technology and EDL Product Owners to ignite innovation, experiment new products, run POCs, etc.

+ Partner with peers in DMS, DM&I and EIT as the conduit to SMEs within Line of Business.

Required Qualifications

+ 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis

+ A BS/BA degree or higher

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

+ Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills

Other Desired Qualifications

+ Experience with data management best practices and disciplines including data governance, data architecture, data quality, analytics and business intelligence,

+ Strong expertise in understanding the various aspects of product management, building and delivering capabilities adhering to strategic (data & architectural) principles

+ Experience in product and release management, and delivering successful end user experiences through capabilities

+ Experience defining, documenting, and implementing business requirements, policies, procedures and processes

+ Experience in launching and running complex programs using Agile Scrum and Waterfall delivery teams

+ Broad financial expertise with knowledge of corporate affairs, financial and product fundamentals, and business policies, products, processes, systems, and roles

+ Experience with Banking Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting data platforms and technologies

+ Experience with Dremio, AtScale, Data Science Workbench or similar

+ Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to engage and influence senior technology and business executives

+ Experience presenting to Operating Committee members, Boards and on industry forums

+ Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities and achieve results

+ Strong expertise in cultivating authentic Executive relationships and delivering formal change management across diverse business areas

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
