Job Description

The Front Desk Supervisor will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: - Carry out the smooth operation of the Front Office Department and ensure that all standards and operating procedures pertinent to Guest Services are followed ; - Able to perform job responsibilities of Front Office Associate, Transportation Specialist, and Concierge Attendant and support in these areas when needed ; - Develop and maintain relationships with employees, return guests and group contacts ; - Anticipate and address guest issues and establish proactive processes to promote guest satisfaction ; - Ensure that financial goals of the department and the hotel are being met , monitoring and controlling labor expenses and other divisional expenses such as supplies & equipment ; - Understand and enforce the hotel company credit policies , a ccount for all cash , and make deposits in accordance with hotel and company policies ; - Be proactive in the greeting of guests in a friendly and warm manner ; - Ensure associates adhere to performance and service standards and conduct appropriate accountability measures by providing direction, support and timely feedback ; - Able to understand forecasting to ensure appropriate staffing levels are met according to business demands ; - Assist in recruitment process with interviewing candidates; - Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications ; and - Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
