Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals. Consider industry offerings, open source communities and standard practices for delivery the infrastructure. Consult with the delivery teams to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications. Create technical designs, implementation plans, identify project risks and resource requirements. Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices. Design, build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with team members and third party vendors; collaborates with application and technology owners to bring them into the Situational Awareness Environment. Ensures a stable enterprise wide environment and reviews high impact outages to ensure
the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future. Participate in various IT projects intended to continually improve/upgrade the infrastructure, such as evaluation of new software and hardware required to meet a business need or to make a process more effective. Direct the daily Risk and Control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success; re-engineering and driving continual service improvement. Interact with Customer and Vendor relationships. Proactively recommends courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met.
The Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer/Developer will be able to Engineer and create template solutions to migrate Wells Fargo infrastructure and Operations support to a fully automated model. The Senior Engineer will be able to actively present to and participate in Engineering presentations to Senior Technology Management to promote automation solutions that will move Wells Fargo closer to a full Infrastructure as Code (IAC) platform that can be utilized on internal or external cloud environments. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will have the basic skill set to participate in programming template solutions that can be used by other engineering groups to migrate to the IAC model.
+ 7+ years of systems analysis experience, systems programming experience or combination of both
+ Experience in managing IT infrastructure for a medium-to-large organization
+ Relationship management experience with organizational partners and customers
+ 5+ years of experience with Agile, Kanban, or Lean methodology
+ Practical knowledge of ITIL application processes and implementation
Other Desired Qualifications
+ Experience with Container tools (Docker, PCF, etc)
+ Experience with any public cloud providers
+ Experience with Micro Focus (previously HP) HPOO Or HPSA
+ 5+ years scripting/development experience in Ruby, Python or other similar open source scripting language
+ 5+ years experience with Ansible or Terraform
+ Experience in managing IT infrastructure for a medium-to-large organization Relationship management experience with organizational partners and customers
+ 5+ years of experience with Agile, Kanban, or Lean methodology Practical knowledge of ITIL application processes and implementation
+ Experience with DevOps or Site Reliability
+ Ability to work self directed
+ Ability to create and present Technology Infrastructure designs or recommendations to Senior Executives
+ Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
NC-Raleigh: Min: $108,500 Mid: $155,000
AZ-Chandler: Min: $108,500 Mid: $155,000
NC-Raleigh: 1100 Corporate Center Dr – Raleigh, NC
AZ-Chandler: 2600 S Price Rd – Chandler, AZ
