Job Summary:

The Advanced Technology (AT) Mission Area is an exciting, agile, focused team developing key discriminators for Raytheon core products and enabling new capabilities that defeat our Warfighter’s threats.

The Integrated Kill Chain Architecture (IKCA) Mission Aera in AT has an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Program Manager in the Operations Analysis (OA) programs in direct support of the Mission Area Program Management Office organization. The deputy program manager will partner with the program manager in responsibility cost, schedule & technical performance of this critical program within the AT mission area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance and analysis of the program related data and process and requires the ability to understand a broad scope of interrelated programs and the techniques and processes to effectively manage complicated program structures.

This position will require an active top-secret clearance and 100% onsite work. Potential for up to 10% domestic travel, as required.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

+ Provides efficient and excellent program execution and associated metrics on schedule status, baseline maintenance, critical path analysis, and schedule variance analysis and network logic validation.

+ Coordinate preparation and delivery of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables between technical team, business management and security.

+ Serves as the Information System Owner (ISO), responsible for program networks.

+ Manage nomination process with Program Security and Technical team members for creating nominations, submitting nominations to the customer and tracking progress.

+ Present program data, challenges to program and mission area leadership on critical briefings.

+ Coordinate the update of the Associate Contractor’s Agreement between Raytheon and various contractors and academic institutions.

+ Coordinate progress/status with Mission Area Director and Program Manager weekly/as required.

+ Assist in the integrated planning and budgeting of tasks, perform analyses, and prepare reports to provide the programs with the visibility to make management decisions to ensure that programs meet or exceed schedule commitments.

+ Ensure the IMS is used as a predictive model and as a valued management tool for the program.

+ Develop influential relationships with Program leadership, Finance, IPTs, CAMs and customer.

Required skills:

+ 10+ years of applicable program management and leadership experience

+ Ability to influence and motivate team members and peers

+ EVMS certified or EVMS applied experience as an EVMS practitioner, IPT Lead, PI, EV Manager, and/or CAM on a program

+ Experience with IPDS, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) or Risk & Opportunity Management

+ Active Top Secret with the ability to obtain and maintain a SAR security clearance

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field of study

Desired skills:

+ PMX Level 4/5 Certified, or ability to obtain certification within the first year

+ R6s Specialist Qualified

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organization levels, including a matrixed environment

+ Strong Business Acumen skills

+ Familiarity with DOD Contracts, including prior experience with contract definitatization

+ Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and collaboration, especially the ability to influence and manage suppliers

+ Export/Import (EX/IM) experience or related experience
