Willmeng Construction, Inc. has full time Project Manager 2 position in Phoenix, Arizona.
Duties include: Day to day execution for assigned projects including managing, coordinating, and supervising subcontractors, vendors, and personnel to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, while adhering to quality standards; Interact with clients, designers, and project stakeholders to understand and interpret client goals and objectives to ensure successful projects; Manage and prioritize the project budget to obtain best possible pricing and eliminate risk in the buyout process; Manage ongoing analysis of project buyout, savings, and contingencies with understanding of buyout direct effect on project and management of buyout process; Write and distribute bid packages that clearly define project scope and general provisions; Assist with project estimation as needed; Read and fully understand project plans and specifications; Negotiates, analyzes, and prepares subcontracts, purchase order agreements, and cost control budgets; Ensures that project team understands aspects of the prime contract regarding specific responsibilities in relation to prime contract checklist; Identifies high risk provisions in the prime contract to implement project specific practices to mitigate risk: Manages document control of RFI submittals, change orders, correspondence, procurement, permits, drawings, specs, and reports in a systematic and traceable manner; Manages monthly billing process, including client contact to ensure prompt payment; Responsible for all aspects of project cost reporting, including timely submittal of cost reports, and communicates risk and projections to senior management; Participates in development of baseline schedule for scope of work and manages weekly updates to the schedule; Develops and implements a QA/QC program and oversees execution of the Willmeng Punch List Program and closeout; Promotes job site safety and implements, enforces, and effectively manages Willmeng’s safety policies and procedures.
Education, Experience & Skills Requirements: Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. 6 months of experience. Background check required.
Alternative Requirements: In lieu of Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field and 6 months of experience, Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience.
