Job Description

Job Purpose: Transport construction equipment to and from jobsites

Roles, Duties, & Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre & post-trip daily inspections on truck & trailer per DOT regulations, report any defects to supervisor immediately.
  • Load and secure equipment per DOT rules and safely transport to and from jobsites.
  • Keep vehicle & trailer registrations, permits & other required paperwork organized and in cab at all times.
  • Adheres to all Hunter Contracting Co. safety policies, procedures, and instructions from management.

Work Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
  • Ability to read and follow directions.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment, how to operate, load & secure.

Education & Work Experience Requirements:

  • Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License.
  • One (1)+ years of experience Loading, securing and transporting construction equipment.
