Provides medical care to assigned patient population, maintains timely and appropriate documentation of such care, and actively participates in medical staff duties. Participates in utilization management and care management processes to ensure high quality, cost effective delivery of services. Meets production standards. Partners with administration and staff to support strategic and operational plans. Works collaboratively toward needed improvements. Shares night, weekend, and/or holiday call duties. This is an internal medicine position. Medical care will be provided to adults only. This position also involves attending to hospital patient needs through effective diagnosis, treatment, and documentation; monitoring patients’ conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments as necessary; collecting, recording, and maintaining patients’ medical history, reports, and examination results; and providing guidance to the nursing staff and other members of the care team.
Doctor of Medicine Degree, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, or First Professional Degree in Medicine (or foreign equivalent of any of these degrees). Must be eligible for Arizona medical license. Must have completed a 3-year residency in Internal or Family Medicine.
