Job Title:ERM GRC Governance Lead

What you'll do:The ERM GRC Governance Lead will work within the bank's second line of defense and will be responsible for change management, stakeholder management, reporting, and data governance for the bank's Governance, Risk, and Compliance system that integrates risk management programs.

This role is part of the Enterprise and Operational Risk Management Group (ERM/ORM) that is responsible for developing and implementing the bank's risk management framework. ERM/ORM is a growing organization focused on providing expert guidance, credible challenge, and effective oversight of risk-taking activities throughout the company. The organization plays a critical role in helping to inform bank management and the Board of Directors of the risks inherent in its actions and decisions, enterprise impacts, and opportunities to manage risk.

What we are looking for:
Overall
Lead the operations of the GRC system including coordination and maintenance of decisions and actions to be implemented in the GRC platform and communications with key internal and external stakeholders
Implement and oversee the governance of the GRC platform as the system of record for pertinent risk information
Manage the roadmap for GRC reporting, dashboards, and data analytics
Develop periodic reporting from the GRC system; respond timely to requests for ad-hoc information/reports
Oversee follow-up items to completion and escalate issues to Management as necessary
GRC Team
Support Data Governance activities to ensure data is complete and accurate in the GRC system
Support Business Intelligence for running and ad-hoc reports from the GRC
Engage with Technology Team to implement change management; maintain change intake queue and implement change requests
Ensure timely and accurate data updates in the GRC platform
Maintain GRC program issues and challenges, improvements
Collaborate with GRC Manager on the development of metrics (KPIs/KRIs) and dashboards to track GRC program performance
Manage and coordinate governance responsibilities for the GRC team
Oversee the development of GRC training for stakeholders in coordination with the GRC Team
Communication
Develop meeting agendas; facilitate meetings; maintain stakeholder communications, material development, and drafting of minutes to accurately reflect GRC discussion and action
Provide updates on GRC project implementation and dashboards and metrics to represent the GRC program performance; synthesize key findings into clear and succinct presentations for the GRC and outside teams
Coordinate with stakeholders on presentation materials to ensure effective, appropriate, and accurate communications
Qualifications
7+ years in risk management (includes Independent Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, and Legal)
Preference for experience implementing a GRC Platform
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
Demonstrated critical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques and decision-making abilities.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Advanced knowledge of the banking industry, regulations, and operations.
Ability to manage and execute multiple complex projects within required timelines.
Aptitude to form strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g PowerPoint) and very comfortable with GRC Platforms
