Job Description
Opendoor Labs Inc. has multiple job openings for Sr. Data Scientist in Tempe, AZ. Duties: Define data strategy, including creating metrics with existing systems to understand our products and policies, and designing the next generation intelligent systems to improve our real estate pricing and operations practice. Build models and policies to help teams achieve their business objectives. Design experiments and conduct causal inference to determine effects of our initiatives. Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to drive the business forward with data.
May require up to 5% of domestic travel. Telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. is acceptable.
Salary: $148,000 - $222,000 per year. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, 12 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
Requires: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Data Science, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics or a related quantitative field, plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Data Science, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics or a related quantitative field, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
