As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, you will be responsible for electrical, electronic, and electromechanical (EEE) component selection, pedigree evaluation, component derating, part-level analyses, and environmental impact assessments. Your domain expertise as a Component Engineer will help the team develop and evolve our standards for EEE component testing, screening, and qualification. You will assist our teams to mitigate the cost, performance, and schedule risks by guiding EEE component selection for our flight avionics designs. In this role you will share in the team's effort to improve the overall performance and reliability of our avionics systems. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills, experience, and knowledge of EEE Components in high-reliability applications. You will work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program. You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Transportation system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth.
