What You Will Do:
Review Trust account opening process to ensure compliance with Pre-Acceptance Account Review System protocols, 60-day review requirements, CIP, Section 326 of the US Patriot Act and Beneficial Ownership (if applicable).
Perform quality control testing to ensure compliance with OCC Regulation 9 and FDIC Trust/Fiduciary requirements for Administrative Reviews, and Investment Reviews of trust and investment management accounts, and document exceptions.
Perform a review of disbursements: trust agreement, written authorization, and trust committee minutes.
Determine whether suspense accounts are properly reconciled and cleared. Ensure compliance with state escheat laws and regulatory guidance.
Review monthly fee calculations and summary posting to the general ledger income accounts.
Verify reconciliation of sweep accounts comply with regulatory guidance.
Review closed trust accounts against policy, procedure and regulation.
Create and update scorecards during testing to share trends of the issues encountered during reviews.
Support the Trust Department by researching and disseminating proposed changes in fiduciary laws and regulations.
Review Internal Trust Review Committees (TAC and TIC) meeting minutes and confirm that follow-up action is taken in a timely manner.
Review compliance Recordkeeping and Confirmation requirements (12CFR12)
What You Bring:
Microsoft Office Suite, with Excel skills; GRC a plus
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
High initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong written, oral, and verbal communications skills for report writing.
Ability to problem solve and calculate items within audit objects.
Education Level Education Details Required/Preferred
Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree or related business degree from a four-year college or university or experience in compliance, audit, or regulatory examination experience with Trust background. Preferred
Experience Level Experience Details Required/Preferred
1-3 years Detail oriented in previous jobs showing level of accuracy/math competency to perform detailed work and excellent report writing skills with strong command of English grammar Required
3-5 years Financial services or related industry in Trust, lending, mortgage, or money services businesses Required

Pay Range: $63,500 - $95,500/YR
Job Classification: Full-Time Exempt
