Landscape Maintenance Laborer

in Pima County, AZ

Job Description

Laborers range from semi-skilled to skilled workers whose duties include but are not limited to handling the materials for irrigation, planting, pruning and maintenance.  Laborers are generally needed on virtually all types of landscape projects.  A laborer must know how to work with his/her hands and with tools such as shovels, rakes, and general landscape hand tools.  Laborers assist in keeping sites clear and clean, weeding, edging, mowing, blowing and trimming, and perform a variety of other functions when requested.

  • Demonstrate behavior in accordance with the AAA LANDSCAPE mission statement.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude toward tasks, functions, projects, owner’s agents, clients, and other AAA Team members.
  • Demonstrate compliance with all aspects of the company uniform policy; be clean, presentable, well-groomed and neat.

Laborers work principally outdoors, but may on occasion work indoors.  Laborers may work above ground, sub-surface or under/in water.  A certain amount of strength, dexterity, and alertness is necessary due to proximity to equipment, tools, and other trades.  Because laborers work in so many varied conditions, they must be knowledgeable of the hazards and safety requirements of each and every project.
