Job Description

Wolverine Daylighting, is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Hydrovac Operator to join our team in Phoenix Arizona. The Hydrovac Operator is involved in all facets of the successful completion of hydro excavation projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform debris removal, slot trenching, daylighting, digging, line cleaning and camera inspections

· Set up, inspect and operate equipment for Hydrovac operations

· Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner

· Ensure all Hydrovac truck equipment and components are in good working condition at all times

· Complete all required paperwork properly on a daily basis

· Ensure proper function by performing pre and post trip inspections and general housekeeping – report any inefficiencies to Supervisor

· Maintain and use appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

· Follow all policies and procedures set out by Wolverine Daylighting

· Perform other duties as assigned by manager or crew leader

Experience Required

· Experience operating a manual transmission with direct experience on 18 speed vehicles

· Previous experience in the industry considered an asset

· Certification in fall protection, first aid construction safety training, ground disturbance, confined spaces, h2s, considered an asset

Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour
