Job Summary: The City of Holbrook is seeking a friendly and reliable individual to join our team as a Seasonal Golf Course Clubhouse Attendant. This position will assist in the daily operations of the golf course clubhouse, providing excellent customer service to all patrons and ensuring a welcoming and well-maintained environment.

The following duties are examples of the essential types of work performed by positions within this job classification. Management reserves the right to add, modify, change, or rescind work assignments as needed. The goal of the Seasonal Golf Clubhouse Attendant is to keep the City of Holbrook’s Golf Course running smoothly while ensuring the customers are well taken care of.

Specific duties and responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Greet and assist golfers and visitors, providing information about the golf course, clubhouse facilities and taking payments.

Sales and Transactions: Handle sales of golf course merchandise, snacks, and beverages. Process payments and manage the cash register.

Facility Maintenance: Ensure the clubhouse is clean and well-maintained, including restocking supplies, cleaning restrooms, golf carts and tidying common areas.

Event Support: Assist with the setup and coordination of golf course events and tournaments.

Inventory Management: Monitor and restock inventory of merchandise and supplies as needed.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for patrons and staff.

Reporting: Report on any maintenance issues or customer concerns to the Golf Course Manager.

Qualifications:

 High school diploma or equivalent.

 Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

 Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

 Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

 Knowledge of golf and golf course operations is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

 Ability to stand for extended periods.

 Ability to lift and carry light to moderate loads.

 Ability to work in various weather conditions.
