Yuma Regional Medical Center dba Onvida Health Medical Group (f/k/a Yuma Regional Medical Center, an Arizona Non-Profit Corporation) seeks Family Medicine Physicians for Yuma, AZ. 

DUTIES: 

Family Medicine Physicians perform physical examination; diagnose and treat disease, injuries, and illnesses; determine the nature and extent of the disease, injury, or illness; refer to diagnostic images and tests, and use medical instruments and equipment to help diagnose and treat the injuries; order test and laboratory work; interpret laboratory results; prescribe medication; recommend dietary and activity programs, as indicated by the diagnosis. Demonstrates knowledge of legal and ethical standards for delivery of medical care and attains and maintains strong positive professional working relationships with fellow physicians, leadership, colleagues and above all, patients and families. Possession of the academic background and current competence to become and remain a member of the active YRMC medical staff with privileges with all the responsibilities and appropriate privileges of the position, and supports the growth and development of YRMC as requested by the Chief Medical Officer. Employer is a teaching hospital and job duties may include providing teaching services to Residents/Fellows. Providing teaching and oversight for Residents/Fellows are duties normal to the position. Teaching duties do not include hiring/firing authority of trainees.
