Job Description
Develop custom automation modules hosted in the Ignition platform to improve manufacturing systems. Responsible for the development of Andon Screens, Business KPIs Dashboards, and reports for Manufacturing related functional modules. Responsible for connectivity management with Peer systems and third-party systems for manufacturing enterprise models. Deliver MES projects (development and testing) through agile processes including future-oriented remote diagnostics in the development of modules. Create digital blocks and standardization with ISA-95 framework in all manufacturing areas. Develop standard interfaces for integrating enterprise systems- such as web services and XML file exchange. Connect reports to business KPIs and aim for high penetration of report/insights-MES terminals/functions utilization.
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and Two (2) years of experience in systems engineering.
Special Skills: This position also requires education or experience in: SCADA Software Ignition; HMI Development; Stamping; BIW; Paint and GA; PLC Programming; Python Coding; Ignition Core knowledge; and SQL database basics.
