Job Description
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities- Establishes and maintains a professional relationship with current and potential referral sources and case managers
- Establishes and maintains a professional relationship with co-workers
- Accurately tracks and maintains schedules and availability of Direct Care Workers
- Communicates with Direct Care Workers concerning scheduling changes
- Reviews Direct Care Workers’ time sheets to ensure timely submission and accuracy of documentation
- Is available on an on-call basis outside of normal business hours for needs associated with the Direct Care Worker Program
- Maintains accurate census of clients
- Coordinates with the Clinical Supervisor to assign staff to ensure in-home oversight of Direct Care Workers
- Performs accurate and timely data entry of payroll information and ensures appropriate compensation of Direct Care Workers
- Ensures authorization is obtained in advance for provision of all services
- Ensures that services provided are within the parameters of authorizations
- Maintains records documenting the training and testing of Direct Care Workers
- Assists the functions of billing and care management through timely and accurate data entry
- Ensures compliance with Direct Care Worker Training and Testing guidelines
- Completes the Non-provision of Services Log and submits it to ALTCS/DDD in a timely fashion.
- Performs other duties as assigned
