Job Description
We are seeking a full-time maintenance staff member responsible for the daily maintenance of multiple rental properties in Yuma. The ideal candidate must be able to drive to various locations to complete work orders. Candidates must be capable of performing a variety of repairs, conducting preventative maintenance, scheduling and managing multiple projects, and responding to emergencies as needed. Reliability and dependability are essential.
The Maintenance Technician oversees the day-to-day maintenance and janitorial needs of our properties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Maintenance Personnel:
Schedule and complete all resident maintenance requests, including, but not limited to:

Minor plumbing: faucet repair/replacement, under-sink drain repair/replacement, bathtub faucet repair/replacement, toilet flush mechanism repair/replacement, garbage disposal repair/replacement.

Routine repairs, including: plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, electrical, painting, and drywall.

Minor electrical: outlet, switch, or fixture repair and/or replacement, circuit breaker replacement, outlet/switch plate replacement.

Door and lock repair or replacement; rekey locks.

Miscellaneous repairs: sheetrock repair, appliance replacement, fixture repair/replacement, and painting.

Window screen and blinds repair/replacement.

Remove and replace appliances (such as stoves and refrigerators) using a dolly, including navigating stairways.

Complete routine work orders.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

Perform emergency repairs as required.
Grounds Maintenance

Maintain landscaping: pull weeds, spray herbicide, and repair drip irrigation lines.

Complete grounds work as directed, including picking up trash, sweeping curbs and dumpster areas, and maintaining landscaping beds.
