Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Recreation Leader – Kiddy Korner . The Recreation Leader reports to the Recreation Coordinator . The primary job duties of this position include:

+ Assist with implementing facility programs and events.

+ Preparing activities, curriculum, leading and monitoring assigned activities, adapting to participant’s needs, classroom management and maintaining records.

+ Customer service to include fielding questions and resolving conflicts with internal and external customers.

+ Facilitate a range of activities, crafts and games for children ages 18 months to 7 years in a safe and friendly environment.

About You

+ Be able to work with minimal to no supervision, respond to emergency situations and be astute in conflict resolution skills

+ Possess outstanding customer service and communication skills

+ Flexible availability to workdays and evenings (Approximately 10 – 15 hours weekly. Hours for these positions are Monday through Thursday from 8 am – 12 pm and 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Friday from 8 am – 12 pm and 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm)

+ Possess and maintain certification for CPR and Standard First Aid within 30 days of hire

+ Age requirement: Must be 18+ years

This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt – eligible for overtime compensation. This position has been designated as a Medium work position that spends a majority of their work day in an office/warehouse/outdoor/field environment.
