Description
Assist physical therapist to carry out effective treatment plan under direct supervision. This person may be working with children, adolescence, adults, and senior patients. This person will have the knowledge and skills to care for physical and developmental needs of this population. This person will also be responsible for maintaining an inventory that allows the clinic to run efficiently.
Requirements
Experience: Preferably will have experience working with people of different ages and capabilities. Advance training or education and topics of anatomy, physiology, or health related topics is preferred.ne year of clerical experience is required. Familiarity with medical terminology and billing/coding procedures is preferred.
Certificate/Licensure: Current basic life support/CPR certification is required.

- May be required to work with various equipment within the department
- Able to relate to people who are ill or have varying disabilities. Able to relate to people of all ages, emotionally distressed patients, families, and appropriate healthcare workers.
- Able to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
- Possess visual and hearing acuity, and/or the ability to observe, document and implement actions required to meet departmental and/or patient/family needs.
- Able to deal with high stress and high demand work environment.
- Able to cope with varying and unpredictable situations tactfully with staff, patient's, family members, visitors and the general public.
- Able to respond to emergency in crisis situations in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with front office tasks as needed.
