Job Description

Network Engineer wanted by GBT US LLC in Scottsdale, AZ. Developing and deploying web services to provide integration points into our platform in .NET 4.0 and .NET 4.5; Performing Business-to-Business service integration across our partner and vendor network. This entails automating unused airline tickets to be sent to online booking tools; Collaborating with development teams and product managers both verbally and through the SDLC tool. This involves daily agile-scrum meetings and managing tasks through JIRA Project Tracking software; Working with source control, defect tracking and requirements management. This includes using Microsoft Visual Source Safe and Team Foundation Server 2012; Writing unit tests and supporting new initiatives around build automation and deployment. This involves designing unit tests for every code change and performing code reviews for code changes done by other developers, prior to their deployment; Building and extending user facing sites and tools in ASP.NET MVC 4.0+; and Liaising with the other development teams with respect to Visual Cron automations and smartpoint web services.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in any occupation which includes the required exp./skills. Must have four (4) years of experience with C#/.NET Framework software development; 4 years of experience with MS SQL databases systems; 4 years of experience with Source Control (any one or a combination of GIT or AZURE) systems; 4 years of experience Front-End web technologies (any one or a combination of React, Angular, MVC, jQuery); 3 years of experience with DevOps workflow tools (any one or a combination of Jenkins, Build Script, CI/CD); 3 years of experience working with (any one or a combination of Sabre DEV Studio or the Sabre API) as a tool for troubleshooting and ensuring data consistency; and 2 years of experience of developing applications that interface with Online Booking Systems (any one or a combination of Concur, Amadeus or GetThere).
