Job Description
The Information Technology Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management and day-to-day operations of the City’s Technology Department. This advanced professional role requires a highly skilled individual capable of leading all functional areas of municipal technology, including enterprise network administration, systems infrastructure, cybersecurity, end-user support, enterprise applications, software implementation, and vendor relations.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep expertise in enterprise-level network architecture, with a strong track record of managing secure, resilient, and high-performance wired and wireless environments. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex network hardware and software-such as switches, routers, and firewalls-as well as continuously monitoring and optimizing network performance to ensure system continuity and responsiveness.
The Information Technology Manager will supervise departmental staff and contractors, ensuring effective service delivery, strategic alignment with organizational priorities, and operational excellence.
