Position Title: Administrative Assistant 2: Pima Arts Marketing (Temporary, Part-Time, up to 19.5 hours a week)

Department: West Campus - Center for the Arts

Rate of Pay: $19.58/hour

Position Summary:

Center for the Arts is seeking a highly organized and creative Administrative Assistant 2 to join our team and support the Pima Community College Arts Marketing Coordinator. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable balancing both digital marketing and event support duties.

The work schedule for this position may include working evenings and weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design visually compelling graphics, posters, programs, and other materials for events and promotions using InDesign and Canva
  • Collaborate with event directors to conceptualize and finalize graphic materials while ensuring brand consistency
  • Reach out to show directors and stay in regular contact to gather program content (student names, song titles, production notes, etc.), and accurately build programs using InDesign
  • Assist with the printing and distribution of promotional materials to campuses and partner organizations
  • Create and schedule social media content, monitor engagement, and follow trends to enhance visibility
  • Capture and edit event photos/videos for use in marketing campaigns and social media
  • Manage content for digital platforms including email campaigns, community calendars, and website updates
  • Build and send weekly e-blasts using Constant Contact; maintain up-to-date email contact lists
  • Input and track marketing information in Google Sheets and support general spreadsheet-based tasks
  • Conduct interviews with students and faculty to generate promotional content
  • Help with tabling events, giveaways, and other on-site and off-site marketing activities
  • Support logistics and planning for events at the Center for the Arts, including communication, research, and coordination tasks
  • Lead or assist with occasional campus tours related to arts programming
  • Assist with events/planning at the Center for the Arts, which may include making/answering phone calls, research, or other miscellaneous tasks
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One (1) to Three (3) years of related experience providing general office support
OR
  • An equivalent combination of certification, education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above
Preferred:
  • Associates Degree/Vocational or technical training in office management
  • Experience in Marketing, Communications, or Social Media Management
The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Experience working on events or in an event-driven environment
  • Proficiency with Google Docs and Google Sheets
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Canva
  • Knowledge of Constant Contact or similar email marketing platforms
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), and a strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation best practices
