The Treasurer’s Office team takes great pride in serving its clients. The Banking Division has 4 full-time team members. This position will work closely with the Banking Division, providing disbursement services to County Departments and Special Districts.
Under general supervision, performs work of moderate difficulty in the Treasurer’s Office and is responsible for managing and processing financial transactions related to payments and funds disbursed; performs related work as assigned.
Typical Duties
Manage warrants for County and District clients, including but not limited to:
Ensure that warrants created are accurate, on time, and in compliance with department policies and relevant regulations
Departmental policies are being followed related to the issuance of warrants
Verifies transactions and reconciles discrepancies
Prepare invoices for payment
Process Bond Payments
Process Payroll
Process Positive Pay uploads for County and District clients
Review and schedule tax disbursements
Respond to requests for information related to the assigned work area
Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits/auditors
Order departmental office equipment and supplies
Essential functions of this position include but not limited to: sitting, walking, standing, crouching, stooping, kneeling, reaching, bending and crawling for filing; working with and around others; dealing with interruptions; repetitive motion (hand/wrist/elbow/ shoulder) for computer work, filing, copying etc.; vision acuity (near) for computer work and reading documents; hearing and speech for ordinary conversation; finger dexterity and touch for typing.
