Job Description
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor with industrial sewing experience, to lead our dynamic production team. Reporting to ownership, you will be responsible for performing and overseeing daily production operations, driving efficiency, and fostering a culture of excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role where your ability to coach, problem-solve, and inspire your team will directly contribute to our success in meeting critical safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
What You'll Achieve (Key Responsibilities):
● Lead, coach, and develop a small team of production associates, conducting regular performance reviews and identifying training opportunities.
● Manage daily production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and meet or exceed output goals.
● Champion a safety-first culture by enforcing all safety protocols, conducting daily safety talks, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
● Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
● Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in collaboration with maintenance and quality assurance teams.
What You'll Bring (Qualifications):
Must-Haves:
● 2+ years of industrial sewing experience
● Experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
● Willingness to work along side of subordinates in production tasks when required
● Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
● Fluent Spanish with at least basic proficiency in English
Nice-to-Haves:
● Extensive supervisory experience
● Any dye sublimation, printing, or embroidery experience
● Basic sewing machine maintenance and set-up
