Job Description
- Complete trainings in climate change and adaptation planning.
- Utilize online tools, resources, and reports to gain knowledge and guide program development.
- Assist office in NEPA compliance.
- Develop a scoping needs assessment for tribal climate change planning.
- Develop a program design detailing the goals and objectives for resilience program implementation.
- Form and lead a tribal climate change planning work group.
- Participate in existing tribal working groups and provide knowledge in support of projects with climate change implications.
- Assist office in responding to and commenting on proposals with environmental impacts.
- Review documentation and conduct research as needed.
- Conduct educational outreach in the community.
- Coordinate with other tribal departments to carry out tasks.
- Develop funding proposals to support continued programming.
- Submit monthly report to EPO Director.
- Attend in-person and virtual trainings for skill development.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

- Strong written and verbal communication of scientific, technical, and cultural material to diverse audiences.
- Ability to synthesize information and comprehend complex technical reports.
