The Utility Electrician reports to the Wells Utility Supervisor . The primary duties of this position include:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Actively participates and accomplishes organizational, departmental, and workgroup goals and objectives.

+ Installs, alters, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring systems and equipment, both high and low voltage.

+ Designs functional electrical circuits for electrical systems.

+ Responsible for actively reducing energy use.

+ Troubleshoot electrical issues at booster and well sites.

+ Review and close work orders.

+ Create regular reports based on department activity.

This position has been designated as a medium work position, spending a majority of the workday in a Water Treatment Plant and/or an outdoor environment. About You

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ 1 year of specialized or technical training beyond high school in electrical systems integration and system control wiring

+ Completion of an accredited four-year electrical apprenticeship program.

+ 5 years of experience in industrial electrical work.

+ Valid Arizona Driver’s License.

+ Certified as a Journeyman Electrician.

+ ADEQ – Grade I Water Distribution or Water Treatment Certification within 1 year of hire.

This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt – eligible for overtime compensation.

The first review of applications will take place on Monday, July 6th. Then, every two weeks until the posting closes.
