Job Description
In this role, you will deliver excellent customer service in point of sale and customer services processes while focusing on consistent execution and operational efficiency. You will deliver speed of service transactions while creating a compelling customer experience.
What You'll Do as Retail Merchandise Associate:
• Establish customer connections by warmly welcoming them and providing support with product and service inquiries. Handle cash register duties, scan merchandise, bag items, and manage various payment options appropriately
• Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold point-of-sale standards in accordance with company regulations, ensuring that interactions are conducted courteously and efficiently
• Attain or outperform individual objectives like credit and retention
• Ensure inventory precision by correctly executing all necessary retail transaction and product handling procedures
• Support the orientation of new hires in the service department by instructing them on the optimal methods for handling tasks, coaching them on the appropriate protocols for processing sales transactions, and familiarizing them with the available technology and resources, all in accordance with Kohl's brand requirements
• Play a role in the daily service routines by completing tasks such as registering sales, counting cash, and reordering necessary items

Required Skills and Experience of Retail Merchandise Associate:
• Skilled in delivering exceptional customer support and adept at managing multiple tasks while maintaining a keen focus on particulars
• Proficiency in expressing thoughts orally and in writing, along with strong interpersonal competencies, are crucial skills for success in various fields
• Experience in retail not a prerequisite
• Applicants must be 16 years old or above
