Job Description

CMI Group is looking to hire hand finishers at our NORTH & SOUTH Phoenix locations!

Defense & Aerospace Machine Shops

Eligible for Quarterly Shop Bonus Plan!

  • Day Shift: 6am - 3:30 Monday - Friday
  • Night Shift: 3:30pm - 2am Monday - Thursday
  • Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 6am - 6:30pm (work 36 hours, get paid for 40)

Basic Qualifications:

· DEBURR/HANDFINISH PARTS PER SKETCH/BLUE PRINT INSTRUCTIONS AND OR DEPARTMENT/LEAD/SUPERVISOR INSTRUCTIONS READ AND UNDERSTAND BASIC BLUE PRINT NOTES AND DEBURR SKETCHES

· COMMUNICATE AND FOLLOW VERBAL INSTRUCTIONS

Other experience that includes:

· PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE USING A MICRO BLASTER IS A PLUS

· THE USE OF MICROSCOPES

· HAND HELD AIR AND ELECTRIC DEBURRING TOOLS

· KNOWLEDGE AND USE OF DEBURRING ABRASIVES,AND BURRS FOR SEPCIFIC MATERIALS

Preferred Skills:

· MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE

· CLEANING OF PARTS AS NECCESARY

Physical Requirements:

· ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 35 LBS

· ABILITY TO SIT AT WORK STATION FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME
