Fresh Farms is searching for a Sales Assistant responsible for supporting the sales department to achieve overall sales goals, growth, and support the business running smoothly. Some of the activities on this role will be:
- Retrieving, confirming, processing, and revising all purchase orders, answering telephone
sales lines, transferring calls or taking detailed messages, if necessary;
- Keeping track of order status, producing documents for accounting, and communicating any shortages or issues with shipments;
- Entering orders manually in EDI platforms and internal sales system;
- Processing email/manual orders and revisions taken by sales manager and/or managing
communication directly with customers;
- Coordinating customer orders with sales team and packinghouses, as appropriate;
- Reviewing, confirming, and creating all required shipping documents;
- Creating sales reports and track sales data as necessary;
- Tracking, reviewing, and processing claim files when an issue arises;
- Acting as liaison between customers and sales management and/or packinghouses;
- Collecting, extracting, analyzing & resolving any issues with arrivals / accounts receivables for accounting;
- Establishing and maintaining quality customer service for all major retail chains in an effort to achieve more sales and overall growth in business relationships;
