Direct Support Professional- Residential Overnight

Role Overview:

• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of members in the Residential Program.
• Provide compassionate support to help members achieve their life goals.
• Uphold Y.E.S. The Arc’s philosophy of growth and learning for all individuals.
• Support members in daily living activities and personal hygiene.
• Implement and document member objectives and behavioral plans.
• Help plan and implement healthy menus.
• Administer and document medications and assist with medical appointments.
• Perform housekeeping.
• Provide safe transportation and handle members' personal funds responsibly.
• Follow emergency procedures and shift change protocols.

Requirements:

• Flexible working hours, at least 18 years old.
• Obtain and maintain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Pass drug and alcohol testing.
• Pass Background Check.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 35 lbs.
• Ability to handle potentially volatile situations with restraint and self-control.

Schedule: Overnights, 10-12 hour shift

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour DOE
