Job Description
Residential:
Personal Care:
- Dressing/undressing; bathing; oral hygiene; grooming; toileting or bedpan/catheter bag emptying; collection of stool/urine specimens.
- Transfer in/out of bed, wheelchair, etc.; exercise; back rub; placement of supportive pads or protectors; assist fallen residents
Medical Care:
- Weigh Resident; take vital signs; external eye cleansing; apply warm/cold packs; report any change in condition to supervising nurse; document provided care.
Information:
- Give input on care plan; answer call light.
Home Care:
- Distribute meal trays; feed Residents; distribute/gather utensils; collect/distribute linens and clothing; change bedding; tidy Residents' bedstands, closets, and rooms; empty linen barrels; clean wet floors and disinfect bathtubs.
