Job Description
- Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Must be reliable and a self- motivator.
- Sanitize rooms after removing dirty linen.
- Remove soiled linens from hotel rooms and transport to laundry facility.
- Take inventory of guest room amenities and report any missing or damaged items.
- Perform cleaning in all areas of hotel.
- Ensure RCGR equipment is being used properly and report any issues with RCGR equipment (foggers, all vacuums) to maintenance to be repaired.
- Deliver/restock housekeeping closet with linens, amenities and supplies.
- Perform cleaning of all floor area such as but not limited to mopping and sweeping.
- Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
- Cleaning of vending areas.
- Learn all functions of RCGR cleaning equipment.
- Assist Front Desk carrying out any guest deliveries/requests.
- Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
- Follow directions thoroughly.
- Keep closets neat and organized.
- Assist laundry in folding of all linens.
- Stock all shipment received.
- Understand guests’ service needs.
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
- Must be punctual.
- Assist housekeepers in moving furniture.
- Collect trash from receptacles throughout the hotel and empty it in dumpster.
- Answer questions regarding local area facilities and points of interest.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill special guest requests.
- Notify housekeeping and maintenance of any reported problems with rooms and grounds.
- Carry out any reasonable request by management that does not place at risk your safety, security or integrity.
- Know and follow the hotel emergency procedures.
- Ability to work under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
- Other duties as assigned/needed.
