Job Description
Responsible for keeping assigned floors stocked with linens and dry goods.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Vacuum all guest corridors and in assigned section. Thorough dusting of all applicable areas. Clean all vending machine areas and linen closets daily. Clean all fire escapes on assigned floors daily. Pick up and dispose of all linen and trash from Guest Room Attendants' carts Spot clean all walls and other wall coverings in assigned area as deemed necessary by the Team Leader. Wash and polish all cigarette urns daily. Keep all hallway walls and doors free of dirt, smudges and finger prints. Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members Performs other duties as assigned Position Requirements
Qualifications No experience required. The primary language spoken is English; ability to read, write, understand and speak English. Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company Verify right to work in the United States Work Cards None Physical Requirements Frequently required to walk and stand for long periods Use hands to finger, handle, or feel Reach with hands and arms Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Potential Work Environment Conditions
The work environment is characterized as a hotel setting requiring multi-tasking, where standard equipment will be supplied and used as a part of the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The immediate work environment is smoke free; however a smoking environment does exist in the building.
