B&N Traffic Engineer, Entry Level Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on a project team on all aspects of traffic engineering, including signal designs, signs and marking designs, ITS, and studies.
- Manage and coordinate project drawings using MicroStation, OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD software.
- Collaborate with engineering staff on technical challenges while adhering to task performance indicators, budgets, and schedules.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors in civil engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
- Engineer-in-Training certification preferred, but not required
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office
- Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
- Self-motivated and adaptable
